1. Remove the old brushes by cutting them off with scissors.
2. Wrap the new brushes around the wheel tube.
3. Starting from the middle of the brush and working your way outward, carefully pull the long triangular tabs through their corresponding flat slits. Pull each tab left and then right to make certain that they are all the way through the slits and are secure.

NOTE: Do not pull the tabs straight through the slits as they may tear in the process. Also, over time, the long tabs may break off from the rest of the brush. This is normal and should not create any problems.
